Trucker Path is the app most OTR drivers already have for a reason: live parking, truck-stop reviews, weigh-station alerts, and fuel prices in a UI you can use with a glove on. That is the product. The load board bolted onto it is real but thin — useful as a third place to glance, not as a replacement for DAT or Truckstop. That is a 90-score app. Use the load board the way you use a bulletin board in a fuel island — sometimes a load is sitting there, usually it is not your strategy. Pay $9.99 only for GPS/offline maps. Put your real load-board budget into DAT or Truckstop, and if you factor, do it with a company that actually funds on time — not because an app bundled it. Keep the free app. That is the correct default. Premium at about $9.99/month is worth it if you want truck-legal routing and offline maps in one place and you do not already pay for a dedicated truck GPS. It is not worth it 'for the load board.' Serious load sourcing still belongs on DAT One or Truckstop Professional. Do not stack Trucker Path Premium, DAT Pro, and Truckstop Pro unless you actually use all three — that is $160–$260/month in subscriptions for overlapping jobs.
